BUY TRAVEL BELTS

On Monday, February 6, the three of us will leave for Naples to visit our belt manufacturers.

We arrive at Malpense Airport at 1:00 PM, and the factory director picks us up. We check in at our hotel and then have a purchasing meeting with the director. He takes us to his factory, and the first hour is filled with lots of looking, feeling, and smelling.

Trends, colors, and materials are constantly evolving, and then we determine what we consider innovative, the trends for 2024. Of course, the purchase price also plays a significant role. Meanwhile, people are chattering away in rapid Italian. We place our orders here and discuss delivery dates and details.

We look up and suddenly it's already 5 o'clock. We head back to our hotel and find a good restaurant! The pizzas are already calling out to us.

Tuesday February 7 / New purchasing day at our regular manufacturer G.

Today we're buying several men's belts for our collection again. Wilbert knows exactly what his customers are looking for. We're also buying beautiful belts in ecru, sand, and beige, but with a blue back. This combination is made exclusively for us. It's going to look fantastic!

And...we're buying belts with a plastic (clear) buckle! Never seen one before...but we'll see if the Dutch market is ready for this combination.

The day flies by, and we say goodbye to the staff and head back to our hotel in Naples. The next day, we fly back to Amsterdam.
